Ecological holiday apartment

We consider ecology to be important

After having burned to the ground, our holiday chalet was entirely rebuilt in 2006 according to modern, ecological aspects. The wood on the exterior is untreated and only the floors and doors are treated with natural oils.

We use wood for heating. There is a modern wood-burning oven in the center of the living room which serves the entire apartment.

Since we have our own source of water and our own sewage system, we are concerned with the economic and environmental use of water. We use only biologically degradable soaps and detergents which we provide for your use. We will also provide you with color-free, white toilet paper. There is a washing machine but no dishwasher.

All bedrooms are equipped with demand switches.

Getting there with public transport

The Chalet Bärghüsi can be reached with public transport. Take the bus Frutigen-Adelboden to the stop Hirzboden. From here you can reach the apartment on foot in about half an hour.

During peak season there is a taxi bus from the train station Frutigen to Elsigbach (reservation +41 33 671 33 33). From Elsigbach you can get to the apartment on foot in about 20 minutes.

Baggage can be transported with a Mobility car.
